Please review the guidelines below to ensure you understand the rules regarding photography at the event and to ensure you can participate in the event with peace of mind.
1. Types of photographers and how they respond
There will be two types of photographers at the event. Please check how to deal with each photographer.
- 1.Official Photographer: A professional photographer commissioned by the event organizer. They take photos of the entire event and may be used for official PR etc. Officially commissioned photographers wear official identification (armband or uniform).
- ・correspondence: Even if you agree to be photographed, if you feel uncomfortable during the shoot, we can ask you to stop on the spot. Since you agreed to the use of the photos on social media when you applied, we will assume that the photos taken by the official photographer are approved for posting on our company's (Yokai-ya LLC) social media, but you can request the article to be deleted later.
- 2.Freelance photographers (or general visitors): They are unregistered photographers who often do not follow the rules and often take photos without permission.
- ・correspondence: If you feel uncomfortable during the shoot, please stop the shoot. In particular, to prevent molestation, two-shot shooting and shooting at a distance where you can touch the body are basically prohibited. If you are persistently followed or asked to pose, please contact the open chat or emergency contact number provided by the management immediately.
2. Important points to remember when taking photos
- ●Confirmation of consent: Any photographer (or general customer) is free to agree to be photographed or not, so there is no need to force yourself to do so.
- Withdrawal of permission: If you change your mind or feel uncomfortable during the shoot, please feel free to ask us to stop filming.
- ●Privacy: If the photos taken will be posted on social media or websites, the photographer is required to ask for confirmation in advance. If you do not agree to the posting of photos other than those of the official photographer, please clearly decline. (The official photographer will assume that you have agreed at the time of application.)
3. Requests regarding photography
- ●Observance of etiquette: If the photographer is rude to you, tries to molest you, or does not follow the rules of the shoot, please report it to the management immediately (open chat or emergency contact). If the management cannot be caught immediately, you can call 110. Please put your safety first.
- Use of social media: If someone other than the official photographer posts photos to social media, let us know how you would like them tagged and credited.
- Photos from the official photographer: Photos taken by official photographers may be used for official record and promotion of the event, however, we can ask you to review the photos before using them if you wish.
4. Troubleshooting
- What if you feel something is wrong?: If you feel uncomfortable or uneasy during the shoot, it is perfectly fine to ask for the shoot to stop or to leave the scene.
- ●Consultation with management: If you have any trouble or concerns, please contact the venue staff or management immediately. We will support you so that you can participate with peace of mind.
