Yokai Walk (Hatchobori Edition) "It's kind of cool! Teppozu Shrine"
Yokai Walk is a place where I meet yokai and gods.
The path I walked to cover the event
This is a project to do casual reporting.
This is the first installment.
Recommended by fellow entrepreneurs
I went to Teppozu Inari Shrine in Kayabacho, Chuo Ward!
It's kinda... cool?!
First of all, it looks like
There is a very solemn atmosphere.
There was a strong reaction from the yokai antenna as well.
And the sound of ``teppouzu''!
Isn't it cool? (Maybe it's just me.)
Somehow, the image of a gun is violent and profound.
I guess it's because it's popular.
As for access, it is a fair distance from Hatchobori Station.
It's just right for a walk.
I thought it was a good start.
What is Chikaraishi?
This stone was found at this shrine. It is called Chikaraishi.
Do you know?
As a shrine beginner, I wonder what the power stone in the photo is for.
I didn't know what it was, so I went home and looked it up.
The young men of the village competed in a contest of strength by lifting stones.
Seems like the origin. Wow.
Apparently Chikaraishi can be found all over the country.
There are various sizes and ways of worshiping them.
I thought maybe some evil monster was sealed inside.
I'm totally in middle school.
Where is Hatchobori?
Located in central Tokyo, next to Nihonbashi and Kayabacho
It is mostly an office district, with the Tozai Line and Hibiya Line running through it.
Back in the day (Edo period), because the moat was eight cho long.
It is said that the place was named Hatchobori.
Please give me more details
This is the place where the guardian deity of the land is said to be.
The shrine enshrines the god of the land, and around 841, when a poor harvest occurred,
To pray for a good harvest and for the survival of all living things.
It seems that it was erected.
There seem to be two origins for the name.
・The shape of the island resembled a gun
・It was used as a test range when the Tokugawa entered the city.
That's what they say.
No monsters appear...
Oh, by the way, this time we went to a yokai-like spot.
There was no such thing.
I am truly sorry. As I said at the beginning,
This series loosens the restrictions of yokai
I want to create a place where people can enjoy a leisurely stroll.
I would be grateful if you would just skim through it with a lukewarm feeling.
