12km long? Attack on Titan is nothing compared to this! The giant monster, the red ray
Many of you may know people who enjoy sea fishing.
This red ray has a thorn in its tail that is highly poisonous and can be very dangerous if you get stung.
This guy
No, it's not that red ray.
Which red one?
This time, we will introduce the monster Akaei.
This guy... is incredible.
What's so incredible is that...
Big
As the title says, the total length is
12km
there is.
A common example is,
Approximately 50 Tokyo DomesSide-by-side scale.
This is no time to be afraid of the Attack on Titan.
If this guy really marches into Tokyo Bay,
Even Evangelion would be unable to intercept it.
Japan has been facing such crises since ancient times.
Anyway, let's take a look at some images.
Hahahaha, look!! People are trash (lol)
They landed by boat.
The pink island-like thing is Akayai.
The scale is now similar to that of One Piece's XX arc (there was Sky Island, right?).
The fishermen who came ashore look like Luffy and Chopper.
People who know about the red ray fish but don't know about the red ray monster
I think there are a lot of them.
Now, to conclude, I will forcefully connect it to child-rearing as usual (laughs).
Let's dream big
We can see that people in the past had an incredible sense of scale when it came to monsters.
And in Japan, including modern monsters,
It is said that there are more than 1000 monsters.
People in the past had no imagination at all.
Speaking of us today...
There are too many things and things that have been explained
The scale of thinking becomes narrower, and imagination (creativity) becomes weaker.
I feel like I'm not as well trained as people in the past.
In the days when there were many things I didn't understand, I figured everything out for myself.
The basis of science is to formulate a hypothesis, conduct an experiment, and then investigate.
In the first place, yokai are a "hypothesis" put forward by people in the past.
Our predecessors in Japan proved this through experiments.
Modern people don't even make hypotheses.
I try to fit it into some case. I google it.
In fact, the same is true about dreams.
I'm trying to apply dreams to cases as well.
Let's imagine it on the scale of a red ray.
Is this just an illusion? Are you pretending that there is no such thing as a red ray?
Head out to sea in pursuit of red stingrays.
I want my children to
Come on board the red ray Senaka
I want to teach that.
Rather, I want to tell you that there may be even larger, stranger fish out there.
There is adventure, dreams, and passion.
It is packed with various elements that will allow you to formulate your own hypotheses and think for yourself.
For example, a team from NHK was successful in tracking down a giant squid and filming it.
This is another example of something that was once a monster, but has now been brought into reality.
If it hadn't been a dream on a grand scale, it would never have been possible to come true.
Yokai foster dreams and imagination.
A workshop to create modern yokai will be held in Edogawa Ward soon.
This is an event for parents and children, so if you are a parent or child who would like to participate,
Please contact me (kazunari.aida@cocorofull.jp). You can also contact me on Facebook.
Initially, we would like to hold the event by invitation only.
If you're a mom or dad who wants to help your kids dream and develop their imagination (creativity), this is the place for you!
