I'm jealous... I visited Oiwa Inari Tamiya Shrine, which enshrines Oiwa from the Yotsuya Kaidan story.
The second installment of the Yokai WalkOiwa Inari Tamiya Shrineis!
Oiwa-san appears in the very famous ghost story "Yotsuya Kaidan"
It is an entity that can be said to be synonymous with "I envy you."
To summarize the story, a wife is brutally murdered by her husband.
It's a story about a man who becomes a ghost and gets his revenge.
It has also been featured in a story by San'yutei Encho (a rakugo performer).
First of all, isn't Oiwa a ghost?
I can hear some people saying,
The definition of this would take too long to explain, so
We'll get to the details later.
So, let's start with the exterior.
It doesn't stand out at all!! (lol)
Rather, or rather as expected, it was somehow gloomy.
There's even an atmosphere there that makes you feel a little tense.
I feel a bit spiritual.
I entered the building with trepidation.
Wow... it's even darker...
It's completely covered with moss.
(By the way, it was a sunny day.)
The temperature seems to be a few degrees lower here, so it feels chilly.
It's been getting really hot lately,
It almost feels like a little summer resort.
In many ways.
And as I went further in, feeling even more scared,
I suddenly came to the "Hyakudoishi" (a stone made to make the 100-step pilgrimage more efficient).
I later found out what Hyakudoishi was,
Could this be the sealing stone?! I thought, and once again I became a chuunibyou.
Anyway, I was freaked out!
Because I was intimidated by the exterior and the atmosphere inside!
I was sure that if I released this seal, I would be cursed!
And so,
I pray for the success of the Yokai app.
Remembering Oiwa's regret.
So I left the place.
But, this walking series is pretty thin (lol)
But I'm not just trying to increase the number of articles randomly,
It's also a memo for developing events.
I hope that by taking a walk around various places related to yokai, you will make new discoveries.
I look forward to it. (And I also hope to lose weight.)
