Where is Tono?

Tono City, Iwate Prefecture. Here are the directions from Tokyo.
Take the Tohoku Shinkansen to Shin-Hanamaki, then transfer to the Kamaishi Line.

Standing on the land of Tono

As expected, we were greeted the moment we landed in Tono.

Kappa! I suddenly found it.

In Sakaiminato, Tottori, it's just a few hundred meters from the station, and all the way around
The area in front of Tono Station was full of shops related to monsters.

There are Kappa-fuchi, 500 Arhats, Tsukuishi, Ushitori-sama, Megane-bashi Bridge, and Otintin-sama.

It was naive of me to think I could get to know Tono in one day.

In stark contrast to Sakaiminato, there isn't much of a commercial atmosphere here, and people here value nature and the yokai.

Tono is a place I hope never changes.
