<About reception>
First, check in at Hatago COEDOYAPlease note that we will show you where to change clothes when you check in.
If you fall under any of the following categories, we will store your change of clothes at Hatago COEDOYA, so once you have been transformed into a yokai, please pick up your belongings and return to Hatago COEDOYA.

Please note that the venues are different. Please note that we will assign participants in order of reception depending on the congestion situation. Male and female will be assigned according to biological sex. Also, please note that some participants will be a little far from the venue.

<Recommended areas of action and points to note in each region>
- ・Renkeiji Temple
- Please do not approach the graves or the main hall. Even if there is a large space, it is not rented for events, so please do not gather there.
- ・Tatemonzen Street
- This is the street in front of Hatago COEDOYA. Please be careful not to stop on the road.
- ・Taisho Romantic Dream Street
- Many stores are participating, and the banana juice is especially delicious. You can take photos in front of the store. There is little traffic, so it's a safe place to walk around town.
- ・HatagoCOEDOYA (Marriage Alley)
- All stores in the Enmusubi Yokocho Food Court on the 1st floor are participating. Please use it for lunch or snacks.
- ・Yukizuka Inari Shrine
- No photography allowed: The owner, White Fox, doesn't like noisy situations.
- Bell Street
- As congestion is expected, it is recommended to walk through the venue; photography and greetings are prohibited.
- ・Candy Shop Alley
- Please obtain permission from the store each time you wish to take photographs or greet customers in areas where there are likely to be many children.
- ・Kawagoe First Avenue
- As the road is narrow and congestion is expected, it is recommended to walk through; photography and greetings are not permitted.
- ・Benten Yokocho
- The road is narrow, so it is not suitable for a large group photo shoot.
- ・Inari Alley
- The road is narrow, so it is not suitable for a large group photo shoot.
- ・Kawagoe Festival Hall
- It can be used as a men's changing room and rest area until 6:00 p.m. There is a large parking space in the back. It can accommodate a slightly larger group.
- ・Kurari
- There is a women's changing room. We also rent the square in front of Kurari for the event, so you can gather and take photos. If you want to take photos with everyone, please click here.

<Town walking rules>
- Don't stop on the street
- ・Avoid touching as much as possible (high-five is OK)
- ・Don't run after your children (doing so too much can lead to accidents)
- - Don't scare people too much (although I know it's funny)
- ・If a police report is made, don't panic and contact the event headquarters.
- ・Take a break every 30 minutes (to prevent heat stroke)
- ・If you are carrying a long object such as a walking stick, walk upright.
- ・Don't group together in groups of more than 10 (it's too intimidating)
- ・Do not cause trouble to cooperating stores
- ・Enjoy Kawagoe to the fullest
<Rules of change>
- ・Participants under elementary school age must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
- ・Costumes that are excessively revealing or may be deemed indecent are prohibited.
- ・We are not responsible for any damages, including theft or damage to costumes.
- ・Costumes that infringe on copyrights such as anime copyrights are prohibited.
- ・Even if the arrangement is of copyrighted material, anything that would generally be considered copyrighted material is also prohibited.
- - Bringing in any item that exceeds 2m in height or 1m in width is prohibited.
- ・Costumes or makeup that may cause excessive discomfort or confusion are prohibited.
- ・Costumes that are likely to injure people or objects, or have sharp parts attached that may get caught on things, are prohibited.
- - Excessive blood makeup or costumes with blood splatter are prohibited.
- ・Costumes that allow hems or capes to drag on the ground are prohibited.
- - Items that imitate weapons (swords, firearms, etc.) are prohibited.
- - The use of items that may stain the surrounding area (such as fake blood, paint, colored sprays, nail polish, paint, etc.) is prohibited on the day of the event.
- ・Even if it is not in the regulations, we may prohibit anything that our staff deems necessary.
- ・If you wear an artist's jewelry, please follow the artist's policy.
- ・If you do not want your photos etc. posted on social media, please indicate this in advance when applying.
<Shooting rules>
- ・Those attending for the purpose of taking photos will be required to wear an armband on the day.
- ・Please note that we may ask you to provide photography data for future Kawagoe Yokai events.
- ・Please be aware that any transactions such as distributing photographed data will be done at your own risk.
- ・Please do not enter areas where photography is prohibited.
- ・Photography is generally OK, but if you take photos of the yokai with store staff or general customers, please acknowledge that "there is a possibility that the photos may be posted on social media." (This is not necessary if the photos are taken with a customer's camera.)
- ・Please refrain from persistently asking the yokai to pose or touching their bodies.
