[Survey] What commercial ice cream would Yuki-onna like?! [Surprising results]

Hello everyone, it's been a while. I'm Yokai-ya, the owner of this website. I'm sorry that this is such a silly post, even though it's been a while since my last post.

The other day, I suddenly had an idea to conduct a survey on Twitter. The results were interesting, so I'd like to write an article about them.

What is the content of the survey?

What kind of commercial ice cream do Yuki-onna like?

That was the content. I have no idea why I had such a question. The four options I came up with at the time were as follows:

• Haagen-Dazs
• Yukimi Daifuku
• Gari Gari-kun
• Icicle

The luxurious Haagen-Dazs and the Yuki-onna gracefully stuffing her cheeks with it are beautiful. Next is Yukimi Daifuku, which has "snow" in its name and looks like something a Yuki-onna would eat. Then there's Garigari-kun, which has a crunchy texture and seems to be the coldest. Finally, there's "icicles," which I added as a joke.

By the way, my prediction was that Yukimi Daifuku was the winner by a long shot. What were the results?

Surprisingly, icicles are doing well. I think they were only a few votes behind. Well, there are no convenience stores in nature, and Yuki-onna live in snowy mountains, so they don't usually eat ice cream. But, as you can see in the attached image, there are some things that Yuki-onna might eat.

That's what the survey was about. It's my fault for including icicles as a joke.

People have different images of yokai

Recently, I've been taking various surveys like this, and the results are always interesting. It's very interesting because the results are quite different from what I thought a certain yokai was like. For example, many Yuki-Onna have light blue hair instead of black. I think this depends on what kind of yokai information you have been exposed to throughout your life. Anime and manga are particularly influential. I am particularly influenced by shows like "Hell Teacher Nube," "Ushio and Tora," and "GeGeGe no Kitaro." The appearances of yokai vary greatly depending on the generation. I guess yokai are truly capable of changing.

What will the yokai look like by the time we become grandfathers?

Will Yuki-onna still have black hair? Will she still be licking icicles? It might be interesting to compile a track of the changes the yokai goes through over the course of several years.
