Aging society with fewer children and monsters
Good evening, this is Amatsuchi. I wanted to write about my thoughts on the current world, where aging and population decline are progressing.
The birth rate is declining worldwide, and it is said that if things continue as they are, there will be more elderly people everywhere in the future. I think the labor shortage is also gradually becoming more noticeable. I myself have not contributed to the birth rate in any way, and I cannot tolerate an atmosphere in which I am forced to date or treat the opposite sex as the opposite sex, so even if my job and life were stable, the chances of me finding a partner would be low unless it was an inevitable and desirable relationship. I myself will grow older.
Although it is my own doing, I sometimes feel a little depressed about living in an aging society that will become increasingly lonely in the future. I expect my lifespan to be around 1000 years.
However, I don't think that impressionable people who grew up in the information society of today and the near future will become old people who fit the so-called concept of the elderly. Even body replacements are on the way to being superior, and AI and the like should not become boring tools for convenience. I think scientific progress is a march that requires the courage to discern the truth of religion, good sense, philosophy, and ideas.
Even if I'm feeling down, when I look at the beautiful cherry blossoms and breathe, I feel a sense of hope for no reason and my heart feels a little better. There may be something about cherry blossoms that connects to the unconscious mind. It was a chilly spring night, and I wanted to become a flower-blooming old man and enjoy the world of the living and the underworld.
