Tomokazuki, the Faceless Diver

It's gotten so much cooler and more comfortable, it's Kamishiro. Recently, I've been trying to edit a video of the activities of the Hokuriku Occult Society that I host, but it's really difficult.

How can I make it easy to see, understand, and convey the atmosphere of the meeting? Before I even think about it, I don't really understand the command names. What exactly does extended editing extend?

I'm currently editing videos using free software, but I'm considering buying a book on how to use free software to avoid any problems. I don't really understand why I would have to pay to learn how to use free software, but it's still cheaper than buying a full-fledged software.

So, is there anyone you would never want to meet in your life? A bear? A suspicious person? A monster? There are many possibilities, but the one I would least want to meet ismyselfIs that a bit of a sneaky answer?

For me, the book I'm introducing today isTomokazukiThis monster is extremely frightening because it looks exactly like you.

Tomokazuki is a monster that lives in the sea, and is said to be encountered mainly by female divers. If you meet Tomokazuki, he will offer you seafood such as abalone, but if you accept it, you will end up being pulled to the bottom of the water and killed. It is also said that you will not be attacked if you accept seafood with your back to him, but there is a legend in which a female diver who accepted abalone with her back to her back was covered with something like a mosquito net and nearly dragged to the bottom of the sea, so it may be best not to get involved in the first place.

Female divers are extremely afraid of Tomokazuki, and when they dive into the sea they carry a charm with a pentagram drawn on it called "Seiman Doman" to avoid encountering Tomokazuki.

In fact, the female diver who met Tomokazuki never dived into the sea again after that day, and when Tomokazuki appeared in the fishing grounds,I heardApparently the female divers also wait for a day and don't dive in the sea.

If you meet and get involved, you will be in danger. Tomokazuki is the so-called Japanese versionDoppelgangerOne could also say that the length of the headband worn by Tomokazuki and the real one is different, but even this is a minor difference.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Well, there are doppelganger anecdotes all over the world. One famous one is from Emily Saje, a teacher in Latvia, whoHer doppelganger is seen so frequently thatShe was so creeped out by the people around her that she had to change jobs several times. It's amazing that her doppelganger was seen by as many as 42 people at the same time.

Now, there are various theories about the phenomenon that when one's doppelganger appears, death is near. It could be that the silver cord that connects the soul and body is cut and the soul leaks out, or that the same person is erased from the world due to the contradiction of having two of them, or that it is simply an illusion created by a tired brain. Incidentally, the general interpretation of Tomokazuki seems to be that she is an illusion created by the brain due to fatigue from the hard work of being a diver.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I think Tomokazuki is a monster that was created to give female divers a reason to quit their tough job when they realized they had reached the limits of their physical and mental strength.

Being a female diver is a dangerous job. However, it is a good way to earn a living, so those around her probably don't want them to quit. In that situation, if they encounter Tomokazuki, they have no choice but to quit because there is a risk of death. By creating this kind of culture, perhaps the number of people who push themselves too hard in their work and meet a tragic end has been reduced.

If that's the case, it may be a monster that we need in today's stressful society. Perhaps a monster that tells you that if you see a dolphin on your computer screen, you should never work in that workplace again...
