It is a masterpiece just because it focuses on the yokai called Ijuu and deals with the problems in the delivery industry today, but the final line "raise the price" plays on "raise the noise" and is nothing short of brilliant.

So, inspired by this, today I would like toStrange BeastsI would like to introduce you to this monster.

Long ago, a traveler was walking along a mountain path in winter in Niigata Prefecture. As the tired traveler sat down to rest, a hairy, monkey-like creature appeared from deep in the mountain and looked longingly at the traveler's lunch. The traveler shared his lunch with the creature, which began to eat with pleasure. After that, it volunteered to carry the traveler's luggage and guided him down the mountain. So cute.

This is a side note, but since then, it seems the strange beast has acquired a taste for bento, and it is sometimes heard to beg humans for food in the mountains or in towns.cute.

Now, let's talk about the monsters known as Ijuu, which are beasts that are different as the name suggests. It's not that there are unconventional creatures because there are forms, but rather that there are Ijuu because there is the concept of beasts. So, how are Ijuu different from normal beasts?"Unusual"Is it something that exists?

If you think about it, the Ijuu are not like beasts. They are creatures with overwhelming strength, the ability to easily lift heavy loads and the ability to run at invisible speeds. However, he is not like a beast, because he does not use his strength at all.

If the strange beast wanted to, it would be easy for it to kill the traveler and steal his lunch, or it could appear in a human settlement, steal the food, and run away. But the strange beast didn't do that. In exchange for the lunch, it dutifully carried the traveler's luggage and acted as a guide, and even begged for food in the human settlement.

A different beast does not behave recklessly like an animal.Certainly, he is different from ordinary beasts. In that sense, he is an anomaly and an oddity among beasts. Being different from others is not necessarily a bad thing. Perhaps this monster's name is trying to teach us something that is obvious.
