The story of the rabbit ghost
Hello, this is Asama Chiyo.
The other day, I briefly introduced the story of the Yuki-onna.
This time let me tell you about rabbits.
My family has two Netherland Dwarf rabbits.
I suddenly wondered, I wonder if there are rabbit monsters too...
I couldn't find anything like this,
There are a few stories about rabbits.
■Moonlight allows rabbits to freely change their body shape and slip through narrow gaps.
Does this differ depending on the region?
There is also a story that it disappears in the moonlight.
As you all know, rabbits represent the moon.
There is a saying that when you look at the moon, it looks like two rabbits are pounding rice cakes together.
I'm curious as to whether that has anything to do with it or not.
■A shrine that enshrines rabbits, not monsters!
Did you know that there is a shrine dedicated to rabbits?
The place is called "Tsukijinja Shrine."
Apparently there are Koma rabbits instead of Komainu dogs, which I'm intrigued by so I might go and check it out sometime soon...
I couldn't find any information about rabbits, which are supposed to be Japanese monsters.
I will continue to research monsters in various places.
I hope I can find something that says "This is it!"
See you soon!
I hope everyone stays healthy due to the temperature difference!
