【overview】

This time, in order to promote tourism and create excitement at Aizuwakamatsu City's Tsuruga Castle, we will be holding a fox parade themed on the legend of a white fox, which is connected to the origins of Higashikurokawa Castle before it became Aizuwakamatsu Castle (Tsuruga Castle). In parallel with this, there will be a food and drink space and stage show by Aizu Juraku on the grounds of Tsuruga Castle, making this a fox festival with plenty of activities. After the event, you can enjoy delicious Aizu cuisine and local sake at the after-party. Chatting with fellow foxes and the people of Aizu is sure to create fond memories.

[Accommodation arrangements]

Guests wishing to stay overnight must make their own arrangements.
Please use accommodations in Aizuwakamatsu city. There are many around Shinmei Street from the station.

[Transportation to the event venue]

Transportation is to be arranged by each participant.

From Tokyo take the express bus from Shinjuku Bus Terminal → Oji Station → Inawashiro → Aizuwakamatsu

From Tokyo take the Shinkansen to Tokyo Station → (Shinkansen) → Koriyama → (Ban'etsu West Line) → Aizuwakamatsu

Parking is available at the Tsuruga Castle Park East Entrance Tourist Parking Lot (MAP) is useful.

[Fox Participation Terms]

- Being a fox (wearing half of a fox mask or fox makeup)
・As a general rule, participants must wear traditional Japanese clothing (kimono, yukata, haori, etc.)

・Mascot costumes are prohibited.

・Costumes that infringe on copyrights such as anime copyrights are prohibited.
・Even if the arrangement is of copyrighted material, anything that would generally be considered copyrighted material is also prohibited.
