Aizu White Fox Legend 2025 ~Oide no Gi~

Aizuwakamatsu City's Tsuruga Castle is a tourist destination and a place to visit. The "Fox Procession" project is based on the legend of a white fox, which is connected to the origins of the Higashikurokawa Castle before it became Aizuwakamatsu Castle (Tsuruga Castle). It has been decided that the event will be held again this year.

It will be a fantastical and colorful fox festival that combines a variety of events, including a food and drink area and stage shows on the grounds of Tsuruga Castle by Aizu Juraku.

Once again, we will have a party where you can enjoy delicious Aizu cuisine and local sake while deepening your connections with fellow foxes and the people of Aizu! It will surely become a wonderful memory.

Also, just like last year, if we're lucky, it may coincide with the cherry blossoms blooming, making it the perfect day for foxes to decorate the castle along with the cherry blossoms in full bloom.

About accommodation

If you would like to stay overnight, please make your own arrangements. Please use accommodations in Aizuwakamatsu City. There are many accommodations around Shinmei Street from the station.

• Express bus: Busta Shinjuku → Oji Station → Inawashiro → Aizuwakamatsu
• Shinkansen: Tokyo Station → (Shinkansen) → Koriyama → (Ban'etsu West Line) → Aizuwakamatsu

For those coming by car

• Parking is available at the Tsuruga Castle Park East Entrance Tourist Parking Lot ([MAP]) is useful.
• During the cherry blossom season, temporary parking lots may be opened, so information will be posted on X and the official LINE.

Fox Participation Terms and Conditions

• Incorporating fox elements (wearing half a fox mask or a mouth mask, or fox makeup)
• Based on traditional Japanese clothing (kimono, yukata, haori, etc.)
• Costumes are prohibited
• Cosplay costumes that infringe on anime copyrights are prohibited.
• Even if the costume is an adaptation of a copyrighted item, costumes that are generally recognized as copyrighted items are prohibited.
